Kari Ryan decided to expand and remodel her office in Mount Pleasant because she “wanted to have a truly wonderful work environment for [the] team and an exceptional dental experience for [the] patients.” To accomplish this admirable task, Dr. Ryan knew she needed more space and “nicer” facilities. “Since I purchased this practice 10 years ago, we have been growing ever since, and we outgrew our space almost immediately. To set ourselves up properly for a successful and happy future, expanding the practice was a must.” With Dr. Ryan and her staff spending “a lot of hours in the office,” she wanted to equip them with what they need to serve patients and to be more comfortable in their work space. After renovations, that hardworking staff is now equipped with state-of-the-art operatories and a sterilization center, an updated lab to make same-day crowns, a “gorgeous” lunch room and even a workout room. “I want everyone to be excited to be there.” Dr. Ryan’ office offers general dentistry, implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as snoring and sleep apnea treatments. Dr. Kristi Dillard is also a member of the practice. “I love our corner lot, nestled in the tall trees off of Mathis Ferry and close to many neighborhoods, including I’On, Hobcaw and Molasses Creek,” said Dr. Ryan. “We are close to Highway 17 and the Cooper River Bridge, so we see patients from all over the greater Charleston area. This practice has been serving the local community for 35 years, and I’m honored and humbled to have continued the care and growth of such a wonderful group of patients and families for the last 10 years.” Dr. Ryan’s office space has more than doubled after the BY JOHN TORS I EL LO A Wonderful Work Environment Mount Pleasant Dentistry Photos by Mar k S ta f f Photo.
