Our builders, Ferrara Buist Contractors, had the complicated job of executing the project as we continued to see patients and keep the office open. It was a long year of construction, but the beautiful end result has been worth all of the headaches. At this point, I feel like if we could survive construction and COVID, we can survive anything.” She added, “I can’t say how much this project means to me, as it has been my and my family’s blood, sweat and tears for the last few years. My children, ages 9 and 6, have spent the majority of their weekends in the practice in the last year, stripping walls and moving computers with me. My brother designed and built wooden signs for the building, and my dad put together endless bookshelves and furniture. Most importantly, my husband, JB, oversaw the project and ensured its success.
